This shirt is kindly sponsored by the family of the Late Bill Wenley. Bill helped found the club in 1920 and his daughter Janet Marriage wanted to make a donation in his memory. Bill served with the Essex Regiment in both World War 1 and World War 2 before he sadly passed in 1946. We are proud to have2 shirt numbers in Bill's name this season in memory of a founding father of the club and a true Chelmsford legend.
