Wishing our members, supporters, and sponsors a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May it bring you joy and happiness and bring you closer to all those that you treasure in your heart.

It’s hard to believe we have reached the halfway mark in our season and deservedly everyone can enjoy the break, draw breath, relax, eat, drink, and be merry amongst friends and family. We can all also look forward to 2025 and all the activity and excitement the New Year will bring.

It has been a privilege and pleasure to be a part of the progress the club continues to make in many areas and especially pleasing to see the fantastic rugby being played across the whole of the club.

Our senior men's teams have shown some fantastic rugby, and it's been a pleasure to watch. With our 1s, 2s, and 3s, 7th, 2nd, and 1st in their league respectfully. There has been a lack of game time for our 2s and 3s, but Andy Barker is as ever working tirelessly in the background to get as much rugby for all. Thanks Andy

Ladies have had a mixed start with a lack of game time too but are currently sitting 6th in their league in what is proving to be a tough season with massive away trips and not being able to get their teeth into a constant run of games. The rugby played, though, has seen some fine performances, and all the ladies can be proud of their performances so far.

Our minis and youth section continues to thrive. We are the envy of many other clubs due to the constant high level of achievement and numbers. This, of course, requires a huge army of volunteers that tirelessly turn out in all conditions to keep this going, and to you all, I can't thank you enough.

My gratitude also goes to our loyal band of supporters who follow our men's senior team, home and away, representing the values of our great club.

My huge thanks also goes to our staffing team, who always work so hard in the back ground. The work they do is really appreciated, so very many thanks on behalf of all our members to all of them.

Most of all though, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the helpers - at every level - whether regular or once-in-a-while, whether for just an hour or every singly week coaching in all weathers – you are a credit to the club and community and I am enormously thankful of your efforts.

We are building a club that we hope will prosper for many years ahead based upon a clear set of values and principles, increased player numbers, sound financial footing and superb facilities for the wider community to use. I am very proud of this club, and everybody connected with it.
