With most games cancelled this weekend due to sub-zero temperatures and frozen pitches, the money was not on this game going ahead. However, with conditions at Holt still looking favourable, the Blueboy's boarded the coach for the long journey to Norfolk for this popular fixture.

After a close first half which ended with just a point separately the two sides, the Blueboys took the initiative in the second half to pull away from the hosts, the game finishing with 43-27 in Chelmsford's favour.

The win sees Chelmsford remain in 7th place, 15 points ahead of Woodford and only 3 points behind Wanstead in 6th place.
